Movie Interior Design Inspiration: It’s Complicated

I love a good Meryl Streep Movie and “It’s Complicated” ranks among my favorites in recent years. I  also loved…the sets.

This kitchen is fabulous – love the iron base island with thick marble top. I know exactly where to have something like that made and with whom…it’s the “for whom” I’m waiting for…

Totally dig this hallway – give me an arch or two, a lantern overhead, top with venetian plaster walls and mix in 2 cups of wide plank reclaimed wood floors, cut with some terracotta tile – and well, what  could be bad? And those windows, my dears are called steel frame windows. When I’m  and old woman of 100 and decide at last to retire to who-knows-where, my little cottage will have steel frame windows.

And this raised bed vegetable garden that I have neither the talent, lower back or green thumb to pull off – but, a girl can dream…
