Interior Design Dilemma: Taste vs Budget

It’s painful, I know.

Some people have really fine taste, but it’s just not in alignment with your budget. Does that sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone!

Maybe you’re struggling with a design project because you’re afraid of the costs involved, or maybe you just don’t know how to get your arms around the budget or you can’t see how to make the project fit with your budget?

After you finish reading this post, answer this one-question survey to see where you chart amongst other design lovers just like you:

My project is causing me stress because:

  • I think I need to give up some quality to get my project done and I don’t know how to make the switch away from what I really like.
  • I may need to need to give up some of the “look” I want if I want to finish my project and I’m not sure how to do that and still be happy with the result.
  • I need to “give up some time” and wait longer to get it all done the way I want and I’m not sure of the wisest way phase things?

It’s not easy giving things up when it comes to your home’s design. Particularly after you’ve gotten your Pinterest Pinning, Houzz-surfing, HGTV-watching self hooked on a fantasy. But the reality is…fantasy never come INTO reality if you don’t know how to make the rubber hit the road. Dollar wisdom in design is mission critical.

One of the things I do as a design advocate for my clients as I create the beautiful homes they dream about is that I guide through these choices, all within the budget perimeters you set.

Don’t despair thinking you’ll never get your project done. You can.  And I’m here to help. Give us a call and we’ll work you into our schedule so you can finally get out of decorating stress and into design bliss…loving that home you’re in.

(OK my fast trigger finger….NOW you can take answer that survey!)
