Movie Interior Design Inspiration: Something’s Gotta Give

How much do I love this movie? How lovable IS this movie? It’s a feel good movie from start to finish. AND the interiors are perfect.

This is one of the most blogged about kitchens. It’s fresh, it’s crisp, its so Hamptons. Nothing else to say that hasn’t already been said, other than…do you think Jack and Diane are romping naked in the next room?

And this living room…what would I change in this living room? Not a blessed thing.

Hello little Swedish antique clock…one day you will show up in an interior for the right client of mine…until then…remember I love you. I also have a crush on that bold striped rug. And, interior transom windows are “da bomb.”

The Dining Room has a perfect shade of buttercup on the walls. I respect the slip covered chairs – we need 2 more of them in the room however. I “get” the tied accent – there’s just a little too much of it going on….I’d nix the detail on the arms. Other than that – lovely in all ways.

M is for Marvelous Master bedroom. Yes, I know some of you are saying “where’s the color?” It’s actually in the views outside the endless windows – you’re just seeing the room at night…

Sure, something’s gotta give – but as for these interiors – almost nothing’s gotta go.
